"Didn't See This One Coming!": Magic Johnson Gives Kings Their Flowers After Rooting For Warriors to Take Game 6

The Golden State Warriors are back home as they host the Sacramento Kings. Having dug themselves an 0-2 hole in Sacramento, the Warriors are looking forward to the homecourt magic to help them get their first win. NBA legend Magic Johnson believes tonight is the night they turn things around.

NBA Playoffs are an intense time, and every fan waits for them all year long. Magic is no different. According to his barrage of tweets, he’s loving the 2023 NBA Playoffs a lot.

However, before he uploaded this, he was talking about the World Champions, Golden State Warriors. Getting back to Chase Center, Magic showed us he’s got full confidence in their Championship DNA.

Magic Johnson believes Stephen Curry and co. will level things at home

For the first time in the Steve Kerr era, the Golden State Warriors find themselves down 0-2 to start a series. As if that wasn’t a big challenge itself, the league suspended Draymond Green for Game 3 as well.

However, Green’s suspension did not dampen Magic’s confidence in the defending champions. He wrote,

“Expect the World Champion Golden State Warriors to win both games at home.”

It’s great to see that Stephen Curry and co. still inspire so much confidence, even though they’re down 0-2. Dubs should use messages like these as confidence as they hit the floor tonight. Even though Johnson rooted for the Dubs, but he may not be watching the game. He might be watching the Clippers-Suns game over instead.

Johnson talked about other Playoff matchups

The 2023 Playoffs are giving the audience all they can hope for. We’re getting absolute domination, close games, nail biting finishes, and a lot more. Apart from the Warriors, Magic is also supporting the Celtics and the Bucks.

While he didn’t name his other picks, but we know for a fact that he’s rooting for LeBron James and the Lakers.
