“That’s Her Gimmick” – Vince McMahon Once Had to Be Explained Why Kim Kardashian’s Butt Was a Big Deal to Her Fans

Kim Kardashian and the world of professional wrestling may seem like two completely different worlds. But those worlds collided back in 2008 when the socialite hosted WrestleMania 24. She was not as popular as she is today back then, but she was already quite well known. The WWE Executive Chairman, Vince McMahon, however, was not aware of her and what made her a big deal to the audience.

During an episode of Something to Wrestle podcast, Bruce Prichard discussed Kim Kardashian’s appearance at WrestleMania 24 and described the experience of working alongside her.

Prichard revealed that it was great to work alongside Kim Kardashian. He explained that a number of celebrities who come into the WWE are usually quite concerned for their image. They have their own lists of dos and don’ts.

That, however, wasn’t the case with Kim Kardashian, who immediately told them that the WWE was their world, and she was in it at that moment, so she would do as was asked.

“Anytime you can have a celebrity show up on time with a great attitude and not argue with you about every word, that’s a good day,” Prichard said.

He then talked about a backstage segment that prominently featured her butt. This shocked Vince McMahon, but Prichard convinced him by explaining that this was her gimmick and her audience would understand it.

“As soon as I showed it to him, he was like, ‘God d***, you’re starting it on her a**. Bruce, we don’t do that.’ I said, ‘Vince, I know, but that’s her gimmick. She puts a towel on it, and he’s like, ‘Oh, well, in that case, it’s great.”
