He then went on to achieve fame and also start one of the most successful podcasts named The Joe Rogan Experience. He previously worked as a host on Fear Factor, and fans want to know how much money did he made from Fear Factor.

Fear Factor is a reality show that had contestants in it who were asked to perform various tasks. These tasks were not the usual ones, but scary and weird.

How much did Joe Rogan make in Fear Factor?

Joe Rogan earlier declined hosting Fear Factor but agreed to do so afterward. As the deal was something that very few could deny, Joe Rogan took it. Reportedly, Joe Rogan was paid $100,000 per episode at the start.

Joe Rogan hosted about 150 episodes. The money he made out of hosting Fear Factor was big. He walked out after making somewhere around $15 million after hosting this crazy show called Fear Factor.

Joe Rogan first worked as a backstage interviewer or a post-fight interviewer in the UFC. Fear factor came in a bit later. One of the reasons why Joe Rogan was paid handsomely in comparison to others back then is because he was already famous after the UFC.

Joe Rogan even regretted going back to Fear Factor. He even said when he was in season 5, he wondered how many more of these can he do.

However, his YouTube journey for podcast ended in May 2020 when he got a new Spotify deal. The new deal was a big one as Spotify was also going to benefit from it. The deal was said to be somewhere around $200 million or even more.

It was a win-win situation for both the parties. Joe Rogan got a platform where he could more openly express his views, and Spotify got a big name for themselves. Almost all the viewers and listeners of the podcast were transferred from YouTube to Spotify.
