What was Daniel Ricciardo wearing at the 2023 Met Gala?
After being released by McLaren at the end of 2022, Ricciardo took a year off from racing. He joined his former team Red Bull as a reserve driver for the season. The driver will mostly do sim runs for the team and occasionally some marketing demos.

The theme for this year’s gala was “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty,” paying homage to the German designer who passed away in 2019. Ricciardo also chose his look for the night accordingly. According to GQ, the 8-GP winner wore a signature Thom Brown three-piece suit with embellishments.
Many fans have missed the 33-year-old because he isn’t on the 2023 grid. Ricciardo claimed he lacked confidence after his failed stints at McLaren and Renault. The Aussie claims he has felt positive after doing simulation work for Red Bull and rekindling his friendship with old faces at Red Bull. The Aussie claims the break from racing has helped him, but he hopes to return to the F1 grid in 2024.
