WATCH: Wriddhiman Saha Wears Pant Other Side Around in a Hilarious Sight at Narendra Modi Stadium
Having literally run on to the round, Gujarat Titans wicket-keeper batter Wriddhiman Saha wore his pant other side around in haste. The hilarious sight was immediately noticed by his captain Hardik Pandya, who along with 11 other players, hadn’t begun the second innings in Saha’s absence.
Saha, whose fourth-highest individual score in the IPL played a titular role in GT posting 227/2 in 20 overs after being asked to bat first by Lucknow Super Giants captain Krunal Pandya, appeared to have suffered a niggle while batting.
It was due to the same reason that Titans were looking to replace Saha with reserve wicket-keeper Srikar Bharat in the second innings. However, umpires didn’t allow the move immediately as the home team had already substituted pacer Alzarri Joseph for opening batter Shubman Gill under the Impact Player rule.
As a result, with Saha not ready with his wicket-keeping gear in the dressing room, there was a delay in the start of LSG’s run chase. It is worth a mention that Super Giants will have to better their own chasing record for the season if they are to win the ongoing Indian Premier League 2023 Match 51 at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

Probably not realizing his mistake right away, Saha came to know about it post Pandya smiled from ear to ear to welcome him to the wicket-keeping position. Saha, however, walked back to the pavilion after keeping wickets for a couple of overs as the umpires eventually permitted Bharat to keep wickets.

Saha’s first half-century of the season earned him applause from former India and Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli. Dismissed with 47 balls remaining in their innings, the 38-year old player surely missed out on a second IPL century on Sunday.
