Home ground to defending champions Gujarat Titans, Narendra Modi Stadium has hosted seven league matches in the ongoing 16th season of the Indian Premier League. While this state-of-the-art facility hadn’t hosted a league match during IPL 2022, it will be replicating the last season as far as hosting Qualifier 2 and Final are concerned.
The last two matches of the season will be played within the next 50 hours or so. Speaking of the penultimate match of the season, it will be played between Titans and Mumbai Indians. Readers must note that it will be for the second time when Ahmedabad will be hosting an IPL playoff match.

Speaking of players who could play the final match of the tournament, the likes of Vijay Shankar (115), Abhinav Manohar (109) and Ruturaj Gaikwad (92) have scored 90 or more runs in the first round.
Highest IPL 2023 wicket-takers in Ahmedabad are Mohammed Shami (17), Mohit Sharma (17), Rashid Khan (13), Bhuvneshwar Kumar (5) and Noor Ahmad (5). With the exception of Kumar, all other bowler represent GT at the moment.
Among Chennai Super Kings‘ bowlers, Rajvardhan Hangargekar (3), Ravindra Jadeja (1) and Tushar Deshpande (1) have dismissed at least one batter at this stadium.
