Fueling His Rampant Lifestyle with $372,000, Dennis Rodman Once Compared ‘Shooting Star’ Carmen Electra to Michelle Moyer

Dennis Rodman believes in living life to the fullest. The man who made over $27 million in his NBA career, just through his salaries, is now worth merely $500K, thanks to his wild lifestyle. One of the core members of the ‘Bad Boy Pistons’, Rodman once revealed his monthly spending to be around $31,000 per month, which makes it $372,000 a year. Rodman would get married thrice, with two of his three wives being Carmen Electra and Michelle Moyer. While he was still married to Moyer, ‘The Worm’ once compared her to the famed Baywatch actress.

Rodman famously met Electra in 1998 in Las Vegas during the NBA playoffs, and married her on a whim, only to get divorced in a few months. In 1999, he’d meet Moyer at a bar. But this time, he’d take four years to settle down for the third and final time.

Dennis Rodman’s first marriage with Annie Bakes, an adult-film actress, ended in the year 1993. After the failure of his first marriage, Rodman was not much careful about his second marriage. After his short stint with Carmen Electra ended, the 5-time NBA champion would date Michelle Moyer for four years before getting married(in 2003). However, Moyer would file for divorce in 2004, within a year.

Much like we saw with all the teams he played for in the NBA, it must have been overwhelming to deal with Rodman for a long time. Michelle still hung on for eight more years, but the relationship would legally end in 2012. Considering that Rodman was comparing her to one of his ex-wives in his book, one can’t really blame her for the rift in the marriage. Dennis Rodman wrote in his 2006 book ‘I Should Be Dead By Now’:

“As of right now, Michelle and I are still hanging in there. Last I heard, she has decided not to file because “it’s not over.” Me, I’m hanging in because Michelle is Michelle. As many problems as we’ve had, I still put her right up there with Carmen. But Carmen was a shooting star. You can say anything you want about Michelle, but the girl does have staying power.”

Dennis was indeed a menace.

Rodman owed Michelle Moyer $850,000 after the divorce

Michelle and Dennis had 2 children together. Despite having spent his childhood without a father, Rodman would not do much to be a presence around his children.

After finalizing her divorce from Rodman in 2012, Moyer would sue him for $850,000 regarding unpaid spousal and child support. However, she would get nothing as Rodman was ‘flat broke’ at the time. At 62, Rodman regrets being selfish, but he is still as wild as he was when he was young.
