“Say it to the Camera”: Max Verstappen Forced to Admit Defeat to Sly Yuki Tsunoda Who Tricks the Red Bull Champ
Reigning Formula 1 champion Max Verstappen’s domination finally seems to have come to an end but just not in F1. This is because AlphaTauri’s Yuki Tsunoda recently defeated Max Verstappen in a Mega Trucks event.
After the Japanese driver came out on top in the pair’s first-ever off-road race, he also made Verstappen make a hilarious revelation. Tsunoda prompted Verstappen to admit that he is faster than him by asking him to repeat something in Japanese.
“Say it to the camera“: Tsunoda makes Verstappen make a hilarious revelation
After Max Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda competed in a challenging Mega Trucks event, the Japanese driver and the Dutchman had a hilarious interaction. After getting the better of Verstappen, Tsunoda took the opportunity to teach the 25-year-old some Japanese.
However, little did Verstappen know what Tsunoda asked him to repeat. And to make the interaction even more hilarious, Tsunoda also made a request to Verstappen. He politely asked the Red Bull driver, “Say it to the camera“.

After Verstappen successfully managed to repeat what Tsunoda told him, the AlphaTauri driver told the Dutchman the translation of the same. Tsunoda told Verstappen, “Yuki is a faster driver than me“. On hearing the translation, Verstappen had a laugh and replied, “Oh yeah“.
Max Verstappen reflects on his Mega Trucks event experience
After competing in the Red Bull event with Yuki Tsunoda, Max Verstappen gave his thoughts on the same. He said (as quoted by scuderia.alphatauri.com), “I’ve never really done anything properly offroad. I have driven my dad’s rally car, but that was more on tarmac. Honestly, the approach of my qualifying lap was to survive! It was a lot of fun“.
While Verstappen failed to beat his younger rival, it was more because of a prank Tsunoda played on him After winning the race, the Japanese driver hilariously revealed that Verstappen’s engine had “a bit of misfiring” as he “put a bit of water” into it.
After making this revelation, Tsunoda then explained why he was so desperate to stop Verstappen. The 23-year-old stated that since Verstappen “had an amazing lap in quali” by qualifying three seconds ahead, he knew that he had to do something different during the race to make up for the deficit.
Tsunoda then concluded his remarks by stating that his strategy worked as he prevented Verstappen from winning the race. And in the process, he also defended his first place from the first Unserious Race Series with Daniel Ricciardo.
