Jordan Poole Ignores Draymond Green’s Disrespectful Video, Shows Excitement for Teammate’s $102 Million Contract Instead
Jordan Poole is undoubtedly one of the most exciting talents in the NBA. However, his inconsistency on the court saw the win-now Golden State Warriors abruptly trade him to the Washington Wizards for Chris Paul. To add insult to injury, just weeks after the trade, the Dubs dropped $100 Million to resign Draymond Green, a player he had some beef with. However, rather than wallowing in misery, JP is celebrating the good things in his life, congratulating his new teammate Kyle Kuzma via Instagram, on his new $102 Million contract.
The Washington Wizards, the team he has been traded to are currently going into rebuild mode. And, with the team looking to acquire young talents, Poole fits the mold perfectly. He is a young star who could ideally be the centerpiece of the Wizards franchise.
But, he isn’t the only talisman in Washington. Kyle Kuzma is also another youngster in their arsenal. And, with how he performed over the last season, the team has decided to reward him with a $102M contract. A huge deal and one that Poole is excited about, congratulating his new teammate via social media.

While it’s great to see Poole showing so much enthusiasm about his new opportunity, not everybody saw the shift in the same light.
Draymond Green took a shot at Poole during Captial One’s The Match
Hours before the Kyle Kuzma news, Green took a sly shot at Poole. In a video he shared while attending Capital One’s The Match, Draymond can be seen selecting a starting lineup using players from teams that the TikTok Filter brought up. Green had already selected Darius Garland from the Cavs and Lauri Markkanen from the Jazz.
When the Washington Wizards came up, he started laughing hesitantly and decided to go with Kuzma, after questioning who the Wizards have, an obvious dig at his former teammate. To finish his five, he picked Damian Lillard from the Blazers and Bam Adebayo from the Heat.
