Days After Equating LeBron James To Tom Brady, Shaquille O’Neal Puts Forth His All-Decade Team Including Kobe Bryant And Steve Nash
Shaquille O’Neal’s Instagram account archives his memories and stats in the NBA. The Big Aristotle never fails to share quick bites of knowledge or about his playing days through social media. In one of his recent re-shares, Shaq shared a post by Fadeaway World of the 2000s All-Decade NBA First Team. The team includes Shaq himself, Steve Nash, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and Tim Duncan. A few days before sharing this post, Shaq had also shared an NFL-NBA comparison, denoting a statistical juxtaposition between Tom Brady and LeBron James.
Shaq’s name in the All-Decade NBA First team is quite well justified given his incredible playing career. The Diesel was a dominant center in the 2000s and had won four NBA titles. Alongside Kobe Bryant, he is the only player from this list to have won three continuous titles in his career. He rightfully asserts his position as the alpha in this list, given his three straight Finals MVP titles during the three-peat run.
Shaquille O’Neal lists his 2000s All-Decade NBA First Team
The 2000s witnessed a new era of dominant and physical players in the NBA. All the mentioned players in the 2000s All-Decade First Team were known for their physicality. Shaq’s team includes Steven Nash and Kobe Bryant as guards, LeBron James and Tim Duncan as forwards, and the Big Man Shaq as the center.

All of these players are pioneers for the upcoming generation in their position. Steve Nash won two consecutive MVPs because of his incredible points average and assists in the early 2000s. On the other hand, Kobe stayed dominant as a guard even at the dawn of his career. In his final NBA appearance, Kobe had a legendary 60-point game.
Tim Duncan was one of the leading forces for the San Antonio Spurs, leading the franchise to multiple championships over the years. On the other hand, LeBron James, who continues to play in the league, comes in the same GOAT conversation as Michael Jordan.
O’Neal considers himself the ‘Most Dominant Center’
Although Big Man Shaq praises every NBA player, he never fails to remind people of his playing days. Stats evident, Shaquille O’Neal was indeed one of the most dominant centers ever to grace the league. And he won’t spare anyone who would disagree with the same.
In most of his social media reshares, Shaq posts stats and figures that prove his might during his prime. When Jeanie Buss, the President of the Los Angeles Lakers, excluded Shaq from her Top 5, the Big Aristotle was beyond disappointed.
Despite this, almost every fan or expert always includes Shaq in their All time teams or list of top five centers. Indeed, O’Neal has left a lasting legacy with his dominant impact in the league.
