Shaquille O’Neal is one of the most respected figures in the world of sports. But, that does not mean he is without his flaws. Years ago Shaq was by his own admission a serial cheater. In fact, at one point in time, there were rumors suggesting he had an affair with Gilbert Arenas‘ ex-partner. This of course led to some bad blood between the two ballers. However, Big Diesel seems to have put the past behind him and recently showed his support and appreciation for Arenas’ daughter Izela, promoting her game on his Instagram story.

Despite all his previous faults, Shaq has a big heart. Known for helping out and uplifting children, the four-time NBA champion is a kind soul. And, this kindness extends beyond just his own kin. As can be seen by the recognition he has given Agent Zero’s daughter.

Gilbert Arenas was recently spotted courtside supporting his daughter. Izela, the oldest daughter of Arenas’ was balling out at the Nike Nationals, showcasing her skills for one and all. She was on fire, scoring 38 points and running the offense for her team.

It was an incredible game and one that caught the attention of many prominent figures. This includes Shaquille O’Neal. The Big Aristotle is known for voicing his appreciation for young ballers. And, after seeing highlights of Izela’s game, he did just that.

Shaq took to Instagram where he showed his support for Izela and her legendary father, sharing the highlights of her performance with his 31,000,000 followers. Showcasing her game on a wildly popular platform is sure to do wonders for her career and perhaps her future as a professional basketball player.

It certainly is a great gesture from Shaq, one that shows he has moved on from the past. After all, there was a fair bit of controversy between him and No Chill Gil.

If rumors are to be believed, Shaquille O’Neal once had an affair with Gilbert Arenas’ ex, Laura Govan. While there is no concrete evidence, there are several gossip columns that believe Shaq managed to charm her after email leaks regarding his infidelity came to light.

Arenas never publically commented on the situation, but has admitted that it was once used as material for fans to heckle him in the game. That being said, it was a long time ago. And, both men have moved on with their lives and are now focused on bigger and better things.
