League of Legends releases “Soul Fighter” event with patch 13.14

League of Legends will bring a new “Soul Fighter” alongside the mid-season 13.14 patch. This update will also feature the addition of a new Champion named Naariri, who is looking to become an apex predator on the Rift.

Riot Games previously mentioned Project L, a spin-off fighting game in the League of Legends universe that is being implemented into the main game through an event. Soul Fighter event features two new additions, one is 2v2v2v2 game mode, and another is Tournament of Souls.

Players might get interested since these two additions are fresh in the MOBA title. Thus, we have gathered all the known information on the upcoming event debuting with the next patch of the famous Riot Games title.

Riot Games revealed their untitled fighting game called Project L back in 2022. After a long development, the title might reach its final stages in 2023, so an event is featured with the League of Legends 13.14 patch. As mentioned above, the Soul Fighter event will consist of two addition, a unique game mode and a combo-battler mini-game in the client.

2v2v2v2 Arena game mode

A new game mode will be featured with the 13,14 patch, where four teams consisting of two players each will be able to fight each other in rotating combat rounds. Players will be awarded unique Augments to fight in the battleground at the end of each rough. The last team, the last one standing, will be deemed the winner of the game.

These fights will occur on four different battlefields with different sizes, terrain densities, and unique themes. Additionally, Champions from the Soul Fighter universe will make cameos appearances in matches occasionally.

About Tournament of Souls

The Tournament of Souls will be a style-rating-focused combo-battler in the Riot Client. Users will be playing as Samira to gain a Reputation by playing matches in League. This will further allow players to face new opponents and unlock abilities for the character to advance through the tournament.

Players aim to become the tournament champion by defeating all the opponents in the mini-game. After each victory, players will be rewarded by taking on new challenges, which are presented after unlocking Story and Expert difficulty levels.
