Queen’s Park Oval Port Of Spain Weather Today: Trinidad Cricket Ground Weather Forecast For Day 5
Following a Day 5 wash out in the fourth Test match between England and Australia in Manchester yesterday, Port of Spain’s weather is under the scanner for the fifth day of the second Test between West Indies and India today.
Rainfall pouring over the Queen’s Park Oval on the third and fourth days of the match had motivated the match officials to start 30 minutes before the scheduled start. That being said, an early start has now been delayed due to a heavy downpour at the ground at the moment. With no guarantee around the resumption of play, it is needless to say that more overs will be lost in the match.

Considering how this two-match Test series won’t be remembered as one of the most entertaining series, we could be in store for an enthralling Day 5 in Trinidad especially with an added presence of rain. Even though both the teams are in contention for a victory on Monday, one (or more) weather interruption has it in it to spice up the contest.
Queen’s Park Oval Port Of Spain Weather Today
It is a bit surprising that it is raining heavily at a time when the rain probability according to a reliable weather portal in AccuWeather is only around 10%. Ideally, the first session of the day was least expected to be interrupted by rain. With the complete opposite happening now, one wonders what will happen during the rest of the day with respect to the weather.
As per the weather forecast, the highest rain probability is predicted to be around 50% in the afternoon session. The number is again anticipated to reduce to mid 30s during the evening session. However, depending on the severity, what a delayed start will also do is alter the session timings on this day.
