Putting Up $1000 To Knock Down ‘Big Man’, Shaquille O’Neal Rushed To A Fan’s Aid After They Get Stuck In A Mosh Pit At His 2022 DJ Diesel Set
Shaquille O’Neal has always been multi-faceted when it comes to his talents. Whether it’s his business savviness or his inclination toward music. He is undeniably one of the most gifted athletes in the world. Most recently, he has been plying his craft as a DJ under the name ‘DJ Diesel’ and has been performing sets for years now. To say he is having fun is an understatement. He even put up $1,000 of his own money for an interesting game during his Lost Lands set in 2022. However, that didn’t prevent him from prioritizing safety, as he also stopped his set to help a fan who was trapped in a mosh pit.
The 2022 Lost Lands set was something else. Fans came in droves to watch the four-time NBA Champion perform and it was a blast. Shaq was particularly fun to watch during this time. He engaged with the fans at every chance he got, even playing a game with them. Putting up $1,000, he dared any fan to knock over one of the taller people in the crowd, adding even more entertainment to what was already an entertaining spectacle.
Shaquille O’Neal once stopped his DJ set to help a fan trapped in the middle of a mosh pit
In 2022, Shaquille O’Neal was in the midst of performing his Lost Lands set as DJ Diesel when he noticed something wrong. Seeing a fan struggling to escape from a mosh pit, The Big Aristotle stopped his set. Taking to the mic, he graciously helped the fan out of the pit, in what was a rare but heartwarming moment.
It’s unusual to see artists stop their performances to help out someone in the crowd. But, Shaq is not your typical artist. Known to take part in mosh pits himself, O’Neal knows just how dangerous they can be. As such, being the gentle giant that he is, he decided to help out someone who was clearly in a bad situation.
Following the set, Shaq once again expressed concern. Posting on X (Formerly Twitter), the Hall of Famer thanked the fans for their attendance, while also reminding them to always take care of each other.
Y’all gave it everything you had @lost_lands that’s was crazy. Love y’all and take care of each other

Admittedly, Shaq is an incredible human being. Despite reaching unfathomable levels of fame, he still remembers his roots. A caring soul, he is always looking out for others. Even if it’s just a solitary fan who’s having a hard time in a mosh pit at one of his sets.
Shaq recently hosted his very first music festival titled Base All-Stars
Shaquille O’Neal is making great strides in the music industry. Having already killed the rap game, he is now on the journey to becoming an EDM legend. He has already released his first album, “Gorilla Warfare” and now he has reached another milestone. Performing in Fort Worth, Texas, Shaq launched his first music festival.
Base All-Stars was a huge event and a special moment for Shaq. As he continues to find success in all his ventures, he took to Instagram to boast the 15,000-strong crowd that was there to watch him perform.

The big man, with a $400,000,000 empire to his name is a true inspiration. He is the perfect example of someone who has lived the rags to riches fairytale. He is a role model and will continue to be one for the rest of his life. One that not many can go wrong in looking up to.
