Sushant Singh Rajput’s post memorable post on MS Dhoni: The Bollywood actor recently recalled MS Dhoni’s heroics from the 2011 World Cup.
The sight of former India captain and current wicket-keeper batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni hitting a six down the ground to win India a World Cup after 28 years in Mumbai will go down as one of the most fondest memories in the minds of fans of Indian cricket.
The Indian captain had bailed out the Indian team from a spot of bother on a day where his team wanted him to stand tall. With Dhoni’s bat not doing much throughout the tournament, the then 29-year old cricketer silenced his critics with the amazing knock.
Speaking during an event recently, Dhoni disclosed the reason behind him coming in to bat ahead of in-form all-rounder Yuvraj Singh at No. 5 on the given day. The same was highlighted enough in Dhoni’s biopic named ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ (2016).
Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who had played the role of Dhoni in the movie, was widely appreciated for his performance. A fan of the cricketer himself, Rajput recently took to Twitter to post a video regarding Dhoni.
The video included both sights of Dhoni and him scoring the winning six to win the World Cup. Watch the full video below:

Curently not part of the T20I squad, Dhoni’s next international assignment will be the ODI leg of India’s tour of Australia in January.
