Anthony Davis sends bold message to Celtics fans about trade rumours
Anthony Davis’s impending trade has been grabbing all the headlines this season, especially with Lakers and Celtics reportedly being the possible destinations.
With Lakers and Celtics both being high profile franchises, both with a lot of history and tradition and both having at least one superstar, Davis’ trade could make way for a new dynasty in NBA.
Celtics won’t be able to sign Davis this season because of the’Rose Rule’, but they will have an option of getting him in if he can buy himself out of his contract in New Orleans next season.

When the Pelicans visited Boston last night, Davis received a raucous reception, with the Celtics fans making him know that he would be welcome in Boston, if he decides to make the move next season.
Anthony Davis was asked about the reception and how he felt, especially as not many players visiting Boston get the same kind of treatment. He even got a standing ovation from the crowd.

“I heard it tonight,” Davis said.
“But I’m just focused on this team. I’m trying to do whatever I can to help this team get wins with the roster we have.
“It’s been a rocky season, so it’s on me to try to figure it out.
“I know the team follows me. I’m the leader, and I’ve got to be the one to make sure that we’re ready to play every night.” he added.
But currently Davis is focussed on the road trip that the Pelicans are on and wants to come out of it with strength.
“It feels like every other stadium,” Davis said.

“On the road I have to come out aggressive. Any time you’re on the road, you’re at a disadvantage.
“My team follows me. If I’m playing with a lot of energy, they will, so I try to come out very aggressive on the road and let those guys follow behind.” he added.
Davis could be joining Kyrie next season at Celtics and the duo will then have a brilliant opportunity to challenge the Warriors, who could very well be without KD.
But Davis also has the brilliant option of joining forces with LeBron and making a mark on that illustrious Lakers history.
With age on his side, Davis will be hoping that he can make the right call and spend his peak years winning NBA titles.
Where do you think Davis will end up next season or will the Lakers be able to pry him this season itself.
