Who will lead MI in Rohit Sharma’s absence?
In Sharma’s absence, Indians will have to ponder about who will lead the side. Among the available options, one out of Kieron Pollard or Lasith Malinga might be seen donning the captain’s hat tonight. Suryakumar Yadav, who opened the batting for MI last season, should be back at the same position alongside wicket-keeper batsman Quinton de Kock.
In five matches this season, Sharma has scored 118 runs at an average of 23.60 and a strike rate of 122.91. With three wins in five matches, Mumbai Indians are currently at No. 5 in the points table.
