“Chill Out Cole!”: Josh Hart Excitedly Cheers On Chelsea’s Cole Palmer for Scoring 4 Goals in a Half

On Friday, the Knicks traded Donte DiVincenzo and Julius Randle to the Timberwolves for Karl-Anthony Towns in a surprise deal that caught everyone off-guard. Josh Hart was likely upset about his former Villanova teammate’s untimely exit from the team. However, Chelsea superstar Cole Palmer has seemingly soothed some of his pain with an incredible performance in the Premier League.

The attacking midfielder scored four goals in the first half of his team’s home fixture against Brighton and Hove Albion. The visitor opened the scoring in the seventh minute before Palmer equalized in the 21st.

In the next 20 minutes, he found the back of the net three more times in a historic display. Hart, a massive Chelsea fan, thoroughly enjoyed Palmer’s stellar outing and remarked about it on X, posting,

“Chill out Cole”

With one more goal in the second half, Palmer could have become only the sixth player in Premier League history to score five goals in a single game. Even though he missed out on that record, Palmer’s four goals in the first half have made him the first player to score four goals in the opening half of a game in the history of the Premier League.

Hart enjoyed every minute of the game and he kept his fans posted on social media about the excitement that he was feeling. The 29-year-old wrote, “HAT TRICK PALMER!!” when the Chelsea star completed his hat trick in just 10 minutes. Hart has been a long-time fan of the club and he always shows love to Chelsea F.C.

Josh Hart is a die-hard Blue

Collecting jerseys and wearing them everywhere, engaging in internet discourse, fanboying over certain players, etc are all common traits among fans of any club. Hart, despite being a star himself, does all of it and more for Chelsea. He is often spotted wearing Chelsea jerseys. The peak fan moment was when he wore a Chelsea jersey on his honeymoon.

In 2020, the Knicks forward took his then-fiancé and now wife, Shannon Hart, to Stamford Bridge on Valentine’s Day. They were seen posing for pictures on the pitch before the match. He was a big fan of Mason Mount when Mount was a Blue. Now, he plays for the Red Devils.

In 2022, Hart made a generous $2500 donation to the Chelsea fundraiser which was done to make banners for Cesar Azpilicueta and Reece James. His love for Chelsea has also put him in the crosshairs of his Knicks teammate Jalen Brunson who happens to be a Manchester City fan.
