MI vs CSK Head to Head in IPL: Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings Head to Head Results | IPL 2019 Final
MI vs CSK Head to Head in IPL: The Sportsrush presents before you the Head to Head statistics for IPL 2019 final between Mumbai and Chennai.
The final match of the ongoing 12th season of the Indian Premier League will be played between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings at Hyderabad tomorrow. In what will be the fourth encounter between the two giant IPL teams this season, Indians will be banking on them remaining unbeaten against Super Kings in the previous three matches.
The fact that MI are the only IPL team to have a better Head-to-Head record against CSK also goes in their favour. While Mumbai have bettered Chennai at both Wankhede (7-5) and Chepauk (6-2), it is the defending champions who surpass MI while playing at neutral venues (5-4).
What incredible game by both the teams @ChennaiIPL & @DelhiCapitals.
It’s so special to be in the finals again. Let’s do it again #CSK 🙌 #WhistlePodu pic.twitter.com/CdKFuKj0ZZ— Suresh Raina🇮🇳 (@ImRaina) May 10, 2019

During their face-off in Qualifier 1 at Chennai earlier this week, Dhoni once again won the toss but elected to bat first. Despite an unbeaten 66-run partnership for the fifth wicket between Dhoni (42) and Ambati Rayudu (37), Chennai Super Kings could only post 131/4 in 20 overs.
On the back of Suryakumar Yadav’s 54-ball 71* in the second innings, Mumbai Indians sealed the chase in the penultimate over with six wickets remaining.
