“Everyone wants to impress Punter, you should see them – it’s like eight-year-old girls around Justin Bieber when Punter’s around the changeroom,” he said, drawing comparisons between Ponting and the famous Canadian singer-songwriter.
Finch further admitted that although it is embarrassing for him, but he’ll take that as they are under the able guidance of the 3-time World Cup winner. “It’s embarrassing, but it’s great”, says the right-hander.

The Aussie skipper has finally found his purple patch in ODIs, since the away limited-overs series against Pakistan, after a consistent run of poor form.
His team too were nearly down and out, but standing true to their ‘World Champion’ tag, bounced back after winning 2 successive series against India (2-1) and Pakistan (5-0) away from home.
Under the able guidance of Ricky Ponting, they too are strong contenders of the 2019 World Cup, and will surely look to defend the showpiece title.
The Aussie World Cup campaign will begin from June 1, as they will play their opening encounter against Afghanistan.
