Atsushi Aoki dead: AJPW wrestler dies in a motorcycle accident. Tribute pours in from the wrestling world as they mourn his untimely death.
Atsushi Aoki died in a motorcycle accident on June 3rd 2019. The Japanese All Pro Wrestling star was killed in Chiyoda, Tokyo after a crash where he lost control of his bike and is said to hit a wall in a tunnel.

Joe Coffey tweeted:
“Really Saddened to hear of the tragic passing of Atsushi Aoki. I had the chance to wrestle him and be around him training and at shows. a top pro who from watching him and training with him made me get the most out of everything.”

NJPW also took to twitter to mourn his death:
“New Japan Pro Wrestling was deeply saddened today by the tragic passing of All Japan Pro Wrestling’s Atsushi Aoki. Our deepest sympathies go to his friends, family and fans.”
Atsushi Aoki was the reigning World Junior Heavyweight Champion at AJPW at the time of his death. He was scheduled to defend his title against Hikaru Sato on June 18. With his death at the young age of 41, the title has now been vacated.
