Aaron Ramsey’s agent has posted a cryptic tweet, which might be related to the player’s future at Arsenal.

Aaron Ramsey’s future at Arsenal has been long speculated since the beginning of the transfer window. British outlets suggested that the Welshman could be on his way out of the club, which Chelsea leading the race to sign him. However, the Premier League season has begun and Unai Emery seems to trust Ramsey as he drafted him straight into the starting XI in their league opener against Manchester City.

Earlier today, Aaron Ramsey’s agents, Avid Sports and Entertainment posted a cryptic tweet which could be related to the future of the player at Arsenal.

In the tweet, they wrote, “Hoping for some big news today! #AvidSports.” Ramsey has been long pinned to sign a new contract at Arsenal.

Earlier, Arsenal signed five players in the transfer window, including two midfielders. With the departure of Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla, Ramsey is currently the most experienced player in Arsenal’s midfield.

Arsenal endured a poor start in the Premier League as Unai Emery suffered losses in both the opening games against Manchester City and Chelsea. However, Arsenal made a strong comeback against West Ham United last week, registering their first win of the season.

Recently, during the press conference, Unai Emery admitted that he had talks with Aaron Ramsey regarding his commitment to Arsenal.

“I spoke with him last week. I said, ‘I want you focused only on training and only on the match, you show us the capacity to help the team’.

“The contract is another thing for his agent and the club, but we want – and I need – his focus only on training, on the match and his performance each day,” Emery said.
