Zlatan Ibrahimovic

After the first two Game weeks, Manchester United are sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League table.

It’s been ages since United fans have seen their team playing free flowing football while winning at the same time. New boy Romelu Lukaku has hit the ground running at his new club, while the likes of Pogba and Mkhitaryan have looked in supreme touch.

There were times last year when we feared for him, but Jose Mourinho looks to have found his mojo back as he is quietly assembling a super team at Old Trafford.

The Portuguese has made some astute signings, with the Nemanja Matic transfer already looking like one of the deals of the summer.

And it looks like he may have another ace up his sleeve.

Many people were surprised when United let Zlatan Ibrahimovic go at the end of last season. The Swedish champion was sensational for United in his debut season, as he scored 28 goals in all competitions for the club.

But a serious knee injury ruled him out of the last phase of the season. The severity of the injury caused many people to wonder if we had seen the last of the charismatic forward.

Zlatan seemed pretty confident that he would still return and would continue to play in Europe for another coupe of years. And it looks like he will return to Old Trafford pretty soon.

Adidas recently made a huge mistake, when they accidentally leaked Ibrahimovic’s kit number on their website. Wayne Rooney’s departure has left the number 10 shirt vacant, which will apparently now be taken by Ibrahimovic himself.

This will only fuel the rumours that Ibrahimovic will sign a year long loan deal with the club this week, which will make him eligible to be included in United’s Champions league squad.

Looks like the good old days are back at United!
