Miro Formerly Known as Rusev Makes His AEW Debut

Former WWE United States Champion Rusev makes his AEW debut as Miro.

AEW picks another former WWE superstar in the form of Rusev. The Bulgarian brute on September 9, entered the elite’s ring and with a new ring name, Miro. Rusev was released by WWE in April as a part of Cost cutting endeavor. Since then he has started a channel on popular streaming service Twitch, and is said to be making a ton of money, while streaming. In one of his streams, he even announced his retirement, but much to the delight of his followers he is back, and now a part of a promotion which is flourishing.

Debuts as Best Man

At the September 9 taping of AEW Dynamite, Miro made a surprise entry, and was shown as the best man of Kip Sabian, in his and Penelope Ford’s wedding storyline.

After Debut, Miro later seemingly fired shots at WWE, as he said on the mic “You can take your brass ring and shove it up your Ass.” and then announced he is elite.
