Alvaro Morata miss in FA Cup: Chelsea entered the fourth round of FA Cup with a 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest.
The Spanish striker scored twice to ensure Chelsea’s passage to the fourth round of the knock-out cup tournament.
After a fairly uneventful first half, Alvaro Morata struck twice inside ten minutes to secure a win for Chelsea, but the striker also missed an easy chance before being substituted in the match.
The striker was taken off in the 75th minute for Cesar Azipilicueta in the game.
Chelsea’s opponent in the fourth round will be decided after all the games in the FA Cup take place over the course of the weekend.
Alvaro Morata miss in FA Cup:
The Spanish forward couldn’t get a hat-trick in the game, but had an unwanted miss from three yards out of the goal.
Ross Barkley turned a Nottingham Forest defender inside out and found Alvaro Morata in space. Amazingly, Morata tapped the ball with his left foot, which saw the ball soaring over the crossbar, into the stands.
The Spanish striker could do little but stare at the ground in horror.

However, Morata came back strongly to score another goal in the game, before being substituted in the 75th minute.
Here’s how fans reacted to Morata’s performance:
Callum Hudson Odoi has made 3 assists so far this season and all 3 were for Alvaro Morata. 👀 Hudson Odoi is the man you need if you want Morata to score goals. Morata only provides aerial threat and Hudson Odoi is the best when it comes to playing a perfect cross for the striker

Assistant Carlo Cudicini, speaking at the post-match media conference, says Alvaro Morata played an important part today. He worked well for the team and it is good for him to score two goals. #CHEFOR

Luke Steele fumbles the ball, Morata collects only to immediately slip and fall himself, which could be a metaphor for… good afternoon, I'm Alan Partridge.

Alvaro Morata scores 2. Still looks Depressed. Ignores Sarri and walks down the Tunnel.
Thank you for some good memories but it’s time you leave.

Incredible vision from Morata. Row Z was not even in the frame, yet he still manages to find it. pic.twitter.com/AtvlBsHGQq

THIS IS WHY HUDSON ODOI IS WORTH £40mil!
The guy can do the impossible and make Morata score! His delivery down the right is 10x better than anything we've seen down that side all season!!!
Sensational player

Álvaro Morata has now been flagged offside 20 times in the Premier League this season; only Chris Wood (21) and Aleksandar Mitrović (23) have been caught more times.
Maybe it should still be 19. 😳 pic.twitter.com/WXrUDTgFPQ
