Alvaro Morata miss vs Fulham: The Spanish striker’s poor form continues as he misses from five yards against Fulham.
Chelsea cruised to a 2-0 victory over Claudio Ranieri’s side earlier today. With this win, Chelsea have moved up to 3rd position. However, the result in Tottenham’s game would determine if they’ll stay in the top three.
Tottenham defeated Chelsea 3-1 last week to overtake the Blues in the Premier League table. Pedro opened the goalscoring early into the game to give Chelsea the lead. While Fulham came close, they were unable to convert the chances.
While Zappa-Costa ensured three points for Chelsea with a late strike in the second half. Chelsea’s problems at the forward position continue.
Olivier Giroud didn’t step up to the occasion, and his replacement in the second half, Alvaro Morata failed to overturn his poor form as he missed yet another easy chance.
Alvaro Morata miss vs Fulham:
Alvaro Morata missed the goal from five yards as he hoofed the ball into the stands. The miss took place in the closing minutes of the game.
Eden Hazard took an attempt at the goal, but his shot was saved by Fulham’s goalkeeper Sergio Rico. However, Morata received a great chance on the rebound, but miss the target by a significant distance as he hit the ball towards the stands.
The Chelsea fans were not happy with Morata’s miss, and were vocal at the stadium, as well as on Twitter.
Alvaro Morata has scored five Premier League goals this season in 12 appearances, but was on the bench in the game due to his inconsistent performances.

That was a bad miss but in Morata’s defence he is really bad at football.

Ball bounces to Morata five yards out, balloons it over. Some things never change.

The key to that really nice Chelsea goal was ensuring Morata didn’t get involved.

Not our greatest performance but 3 points in the end. RLC has to start over Kovacic next game, regardless of whether Barkley is fit. Morata and Giroud are just as bad as each other.

Are people still surprised that Morata can’t score 1v1s, that was basically a tap in. Everytime he’s on goal I do the opposite of getting excited and I sit back down.

Morata can’t be real. Seriously. Is this some Munich voodoo as payback for 2012? A glitch in the system? Did Barry Allen fuck up the timeline again? How can you be THAT bad?

Dear God, everyone pray for Morata’s confidence. Has to score there.

Giroud makes me miss Morata. Morata makes me miss Giroud.
