Ansu Fati tricks three Athletic Bilbao players with one move during Copa Del Rey match

Ansu Fati dazzles three Athletic Bilbao players with just one move in a Copa Del Rey encounter last night, Barcelona lost by 1-0.

Ansu Fati has been deemed as one of the future talents in European football, as La Masia product introduced himself to the world with sensational performances at the start of the season.

Since then, he has been performing consistently for the Blaugranas and has sealed his position in the squad. Last night also Fati had a decent performance but it did not help his team.

But, he was able to showcase a splendid skill against Athletic Bilbao, which compelled three players from the opposition to make a mockery out of themselves.

The 17-year-old star was dribbling the ball forward when three Athletic Bilbao players came charging on him from all directions and he certainly sensed it.

In response, he made a quick skill with his feet and gracefully escapes from the charge made by them before he passed the ball to Lionel Messi.

Despite Fati and Messi playing together, Barcelona faced elimination from Copa Del Rey last night, the 93rd-minute header by Inaki Williams in the 90+3rd minute ended Barcelona’s campaign in the cup competition.

The goal was awarded as an own-goal by Sergio Busquets as he touched the ball before it went inside. Even though Barcelona found a potential heir in Messi, but this season Barcelona ‘s results are poor.

With elimination from this campaign and losing the top spot in La Liga, Barcelona needs to focus on the Champions League, if they don’t want to have a trophyless season.

More worrying for the club might be Messi’s falling out with sporting director Eric Abidal, over who was to blame for Valverde’s sacking, which has led to rumours the six-time Ballon d’Or winner could leave the club.
