Arsenal 3-2 Aston Villa: 3 talking points after Gunners snatches three points against Aston Villa

#2 Aston Villa made huge blunders to let the game slip

Arsenal 3-2 Aston Villa

Aston Villa could have won this match or at least could have managed a draw, if they had not made huge blunders, which Arsenal used for their advantage. Two goals out of three came from Aston Villa’s mistakes.

First came after Aston Villa awarded a penalty to the Gunners and in the second instance, the visitors gave a free-kick to Aubameyang from a comfortable position, which the Gabonese International scored with all comfort.

Thus, Aston Villa could have managed, if they had not given such spot-kicks and could have maintained their temperament. The nervousness by Aston Villa spoiled all the hard work, as it allowed the players to make errors.

If one considers, it was a good performance by Aston Villa, until they conceded last two goals. The Lions failed to finish the game, hence, the last ten minutes of the game made arsenal win the game.
