Unai Emery hinted at Arsenal team for Europa League, stating that he can make one significant change to the side.
Arsenal’s head coach Unai Emery looked happy after Arsenal’s convincing 2-1 victory at Newcastle United. The scoreline might suggest that the match was intense, but Newcastle didn’t score till the injury time, and Arsenal cruised to victory.
The Spanish manager stressed that his team stepped up in the second half.
“The first half we couldn’t control the match like we wanted. We need to impose our ideas, but we conceded a lot of chances for the counter attack.
“The second half, the balance on the pitch was better. We didn’t concede the transition as easy.
“The key was the first goal, it gave us the confidence to improve on the match.”
He also commented on Mesut Ozil’s performance, including his goal.
“Every player is the same. Today I am happy, Mesut scored which is important. He continues his process on the team, helping with his quality,” Emery said.
“It’s a new way for him. We watch his performances each day in training and in each match to give us his quality.
“I want his best performance and today first of all, he worked well.”

“Yes, we are going to change and use a lot of players for different competitions. Every competition for me I have respect for. Normally I will use a different keep for the competition.”
This could probably mean that Bernd Leno will make his debut for Arsenal next week. The goalkeeper was signed this summer, but is yet to play for Arsenal this season. Petr Cech continues to play in front of the goal for the London side.
Arsenal are now at 9 points from 5 games, having dropped six in their first two Premier League matches against Manchester City and Chelsea. They will now host Ukrainian club Vorlska in the Europa League match next week.
