Arsenal Transfer News: Wolves' manager is favourite to replace Unai Emery at Arsenal

Arsenal Transfer News: Wolves’ manager Nuno Espirito is favourite to replace under sacking radar Unai Emery at Arsenal.

The North London club is shambles after the 13 game-weeks of the Premier League with top-4 finish slowly slipping away and underwhelming performances against inferior teams have made the fans furious.

It is reported that the current boss at Arsenal is at threat of losing his job anytime soon amidst the string of poor results by his side. Thus, according to Skybet, Nuno Espirito is at just 6/4 to be the next permanent Arsenal boss, with Mikel Arteta the second favourite at 7/2.

Espirito’s reputation as a manager has grown tremendously in England, as his side Wolves are currently on the 5th position amidst intense competition between the elite 6 clubs in England.

With a decent budget behind him and a circle of talented players from his homeland, the Portuguese manager has turned Wolves into one of the Premier League’s finest teams.

Meanwhile, Skybet also revealed the list of other managers who are at odds to be the next manager at Arsenal, which includes personalities like Steven Gerrard and Rafa Benitez.

List of managers who are listed

  • Nuno Espirito Santo – 6/4
  • Mikel Arteta – 7/2
  • Rafa Benitez – 5/1
  • Max Allegri – 6/1
  • Mauricio Pochettino – 6/1
  • Freddie Ljungberg – 8/1
  • Eddie Howe – 12/1
  • Patrick Vieira – 12/1
  • Brendan Rodgers – 20/1
  • Steven Gerrard – 20/1

Coming back to Espirito, the Portuguese manager has the potential to be successful at Arsenal, as his tactics and gameplan are currently working in the Premier League.

His side finished 7th in the league last season and qualified for the Europa League and are on the verge of qualifying to the next round as they stand second in their group.

On the other side, Emery’s job is at the most vulnerable state ever since he joined the Gunners. The Spaniard has massively lost the support of the board and fans in the process.
