Arsenal vs Burnley highlights: Twitter reacts as Arsenal return to winning ways against Burnley in the Premier League.
Arsenal registered a 3-1 victory over Burnley in the Premier League. A brace from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and a late goal from Alex Iwobi sealed three points for Arsenal against Sean Dyche’s side.
Mesut Ozil started the game for Arsenal, amidst speculations over a move away from the club due to lack of game time. However, he was on song as he played an incredible pass for Sead Kolasinac to set Aubameyang up for the first goal of the match.
Arsenal were not at their best in the first half, but held on to the lead at the end of the 45 minutes for the first time in the Premier League this season.
Aubameyang scored his second goal of the game to move to top on the Premier League goal-charts with a classic counter-attacking play from the Gunners. Iwobi scored the third goal in the injury time to finish an all-round performance from the side.
With the win, Arsenal are level on points with fourth-placed Chelsea, but await the result of their game against Leicester City, to be played later tonight.
Here are some of the best tweets from the game:
Aubameyang is easily amongst the top 3 strikers in the league. I don’t think many can argue. pic.twitter.com/YYJSpMfz4U

I’m at the Emirates today and Emery looks to have got it spot on with Ozil. This game, with Burnley sitting deep, is perfect for him. Amazing pass in build up to Aubameyang goal. 1-0

Most players will lay this into @Aubameyang7, but @MesutOzil1088 is not most players, instead he picks out a pass to Kolasinac who is not even in the picture. pic.twitter.com/20JYQksHZS

Only Messi has scored more than Aubameyang in Europe’s top five leagues now.

people call Aubameyang a tap in merchant but you have to be in the right place at the right time as a striker you have to admit he’s simply world class.

Kolasinac wasn’t even in the picture when Ozil made the pass.
This is the vision of Ozil. pic.twitter.com/MnC8iX9EYe— P™ (@Cechque) December 22, 2018
Dear Unai,
Having tactical reasons is important but playing Mesut Ozil is importanter.
Regards.

Ozil really is the world’s most frustrating player. When he’s up for it like today he’s a sublimely talented game-changing genius. Just wish his heart matched his ability. #afc pic.twitter.com/S8zmMggIAc

Kolasinac with Sokratis would win against Prime Mike Tyson and Anthony Josua in a no rules fight.
