“We think the red card should be overruled”: Mikel Arteta Affirms Arsenal Have Appealed Against David Luiz’s Red Card

Arsenal Vs Tottenham: David Luiz remarks on his first North London derby, after the Brazilian joins Arsenal from Chelsea.

The next game-week of the Premier League has North London derby to level up the football fans before the club football takes a break for the International matches.

This North London Derby will be interesting as David Luiz for the first time will be playing against a London side for a London side without dawning Chelsea’s colours.

The Brazilian International made a shock move to the Etihad Stadium after serving the Blues for years. Luiz is reported to be hired to replace Laurent Koscielny.

Since then, Luiz has started in all the games for Arsenal and have conceded 5 goals in 3 matches, courtesy to a 3-1 loss against Liverpool this week.

However, the 32-year-old, who left Chelsea to move to Arsenal on transfer deadline day earlier this month, admits to Goal that it’s a game that he can’t wait to be involved in.

“It’s going to be special for me for sure,” said the former Blues defender.“It’s always special to play football. I play football because I love football. That’s why I’m still playing, that’s why I still have ambition and try to do big things in football.”

Both the sides will face each other at the Emirates stadium on this game-week to race for the top-4 spots. Arsenal had a great start until Liverpool crashed their winning streak.

On the other hand, Tottenham Hotspurs made great performances against Aston Villa and Manchester City but were shocked by Newcastle United, who registerd 1-0 win over the Lilywhites.

It will be a great encounter as both Pierre-Emrick Aubameyang and Harry Kane are in a great form to facilitate a massive goal-fest this week.

On the other hand, the midfield battle will also be a key in this match, as both new incomings Dani Ceballos and Tanguy Ndombele have been impressive so far.
