Aubameyang fuels Perisic transfer news: The Arsenal striker raised speculations over Perisic’s reported arrival to the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal have been in shaky form over the last two months. While the club is fifth in the Premier League table, the side was knocked out of the FA Cup fourth round by Manchester United.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the only goal in a 3-1 loss for Arsenal, who also conceded to their former star, Alexis Sanchez.
While Unai Emery will be aiming to put the FA Cup loss behind them as they take on Cardiff City in the Premier League, Arsenal have been linked with a number of players as we approach the end of the January transfer window.
It was reported earlier that Arsenal have held talks with Inter Milan for a potential loan move for Ivan Perisic. BBC’s David Ornstein reported that the Inter player is keen on signing for Arsenal as well.
And now, the Aubameyang has fueled the rumours even further.
Aubameyang fuels Perisic transfer rumours:
The Arsenal forward seems keen on Arsenal splashing some cash for the former Borussia Dortmund player.
While both the players have played for the Bundesliga side before, Perisic left Dortmund six months before the arrival of the Gabon striker.
Aubameyang signified his interest in the loan move by ‘liking’ a post on Instagram which stated that Perisic has asked to leave Inter Milan.

Earlier, David Ornstein has claimed that Perisic is interested in the move and the deal could take place within this month. He has further reported that the deal will also include an option for permanent transfer amounting to a £35m fee.
He also reported a few days ago that a loan move for Paris Saint Germain’s Christopher Nkunku is close. The 21-year-old midfielder has previously worked with Unai Emery during his time at the Ligue 1 outfit.
