Aubameyang ‘super’ celebration: The famous Batman celebration could make a return for Aubameyang against Tottenham.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has emerged as one of the key players for Arsenal this season. The player is currently the joint-top scorer in the league this year with Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero.
Arsenal are fifth in the Premier League at the moment and eye a win in a mouthwatering clash against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side is 3rd in the table and is three points ahead of the Gunners. Tottenham are high on spirits after two back-to-back wins against Chelsea and Inter Milan. Spurs keep their Champions League hopes alive with a win against the Italian side.
Arsenal’s striker Aubameyang would aim to ensure a win for the side, and talked with Sky Sports ahead of the game.
Aubameyang ‘super’ celebration:
The striker talked about the North London derby ahead of the game, stating that Pochettino’s side are a tough competitor.
Aubameyang also talked about his celebrations in the derby games.

It all started when the striker was playing for St. Etienne. He donned the Spiderman mask when he scored in the derby, and the tradition continued when he joined Borussia Dortmund.
He donned the Batman and Spiderman masks in the derby games against Schalke 04.
And so, in the interview with Sky Sports, he was asked if the fans will see a similar celebration taking place against Tottenham if he scores the goal.

We will see [if I bring out a mask],” Aubameyang said.
“It depends on my mood. I remember the derby when I put on the mask of Batman with Dortmund, I had the idea on the morning of the game,” Aubameyang explained.
Aubameyang has a brace at the Santiago Bernabeu.. Don’t tell me he’s a small team bully. Gives us a different dynamic going forward. His work rate against Bournemouth was class. As soon as we find an opening, Auba has a chance. Very clinical most of the time too.

“I called my cousin and said okay, go to buy this mask and it depends on the mood – I will see if I feel good maybe, why not.”
Aubameyang later added that he’s in good touch, so he might think about it. “I’m in a good place now so we’ll see,” the player said.
