AUS vs IND Dream 11 Prediction: Best Dream11 team for today’s Australia vs India | 2019 Cricket World Cup

AUS vs IND Dream 11 Prediction: Best Dream11 team for today’s Australia vs India Match 14 | TSR helps you with Dream 11 for CWC 2019.

The 14th match of the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 will be played between Australia and India at The Oval today. In what will undoubtedly be one of the biggest clashes of the tournament, it will be intriguing to see which team emerges as the winner.

What further makes this match riveting to watch is the fact that both teams had registered victory in their last individual match. The Oval will witness one of the team losing its winning momentum today.

AUS vs IND Dream 11 Prediction

Wicket-keepers for AUS vs IND Dream 11

The only specialist wicket-keeper batsman in my squad is former India captain and current wicket-keeper batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni. In 10 ODIs which Dhoni has played this year, he has scored 361 runs at an average of 72.2 and a strike rate of 77.80 including four half-centuries.

Expected to bat at No. 5 as compared to Australia wicket-keeper batsman Alex Carey’s No. 7, Dhoni is a must-have in your squad at 8.5 credits.

Batsmen for AUS vs IND Dream 11

Expecting the batsmen to make the most of the surface at The Oval, I have picked as many as five batsmen in my squad. Speaking during the press conference on the eve of the match, India vice-captain Rohit Sharma was asked pick the better batsman between Virat Kohli and Steven Smith. There was a reason why no other batsman was compared and it is the same reason behind the duo being an automatic selection for me.

Having scored 383 runs in five matches at an average of 76.60 and a strike rate of 88.86, Australia batsman Usman Khawaja ended the series in India as the highest run-scorer. An overall average and strike rate of 62.12 and 84.81 respectively against India in ODIs, Khawaja has also scored two centuries and three half-centuries in eight matches against India. I wouldn’t suggest you to ignore someone with such numbers against one particular opposition.

India opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan might not have have done well on this tour so far but his overall numbers during ICC tournament are enough for me to bank on him today.

India middle-order batsman Lokesh Rahul being available for 8 credits makes him a budget buy for each one for you. Having looked good in one of the practice matches, Rahul would be eager to replicate the same performance in a bid to justify him batting at No. 4 for India.

All-rounders for AUS vs IND Dream 11

Among the all-rounders, I have named a couple of cricketers in Hardik Pandya and Marcus Stoinis. Both the cricketers are most likely to play a significant role for their team in both the innings. Being of similar nature, them standing tall for their team has it in it to change the course of the match today. Expect both the players to work well for you.

Bowlers for AUS vs IND Dream 11

Playing an ODI after almost seven months, Australia fast bowler Mitchell Starc has put on display excellent form thus far. Having registered his sixth ODI five-wicket haul, Starc’s figures of 10-1-46-5 had propelled Australia to victory against West Indies.

At 8.5 credits, Australia leg-spinner Adam Zampa is another budget buy for me. Known for his ability to deceive the batsman, Zampa should be able to do the same against 1-2 Indian batsmen.

The last specialist bowler in my side is India’s Jasprit Bumrah. Citing his potential in association with his numbers across formats, I won’t suggest you to not include Bumrah from your side. If you have to make some changes to your team to include Bumrah, please go ahead!

Captain – Virat Kohli

Vice-captain – Steven Smith
