Barcelona have been reportedly interested in AS Roma winger Cengiz Under and are monitoring his development very closely in the Italian capital.
Under has been extremely impressive in his debut Serie A season and is attracting a lot of eye balls already.
Amidst the interest from Barcelona, however, Roma club president James Pallotta has practically asked the Catalan giants to keep their hands off the mercurial Turk.
Pallotta has been very critical of the bigger European clubs saying that Roma is not a ‘supermarket’.
Reports in the media suggest that Barcelona have made a contact with Under’s representatives as well. However the stern reaction from the Roma President might put them off their feet.
This news is sure going to add more spice to the Champions League clash between Barcelona and AS Roma next week.
Griezmann ready to take a pay cut to join Barcelona.
The Antoine Griezmann and Barcelona transfer drama was reached its newest scene. Many reports suggests that the French superstar will have to accept a pay cut in order to join Barcelona.
Griezmann will have to accept a lower salary at Barcelona as compared to his current one at Athletico so that the Catalan outfit doesn’t exceed its wage limit.
According to reports, Griezmann has already indicated he is willing to take a pay cut to play for Barcelona. The Catalan club will also pay Athletico the transfer fee in instalments which rumoured to be more than £100 million.
Barcelona wish to complete the deal before the French international flies off to Russia for the World Cup.
However owing to financial fair play Barcelona will need to register this particular transfer in next season’s accounts and thus can’t be completed before the 1st of July. So brace yourselves Barcelona fans this deal is going to be a tricky one.
