Barcelona Transfer News: Kylian Mbappe passes extraordinary statement on Neymar's Barcelona transfer

Kylian Mbappe wants his teammate Neymar to stay at Paris despite Barcelona links.

Kylian Mbappe has divulged about his desire to play alongside Neymar in Paris for the upcoming season. The French International also confirmed his stance to stay at the club after his beforehand comment indicating his departure from the capital city of France.

Barcelona are open to an idea of a reunion with Neymar once again. Yet, they will have to pay more than €243 million. The Blaugrana came up with the idea of €100 million cash plus two players, but there are no concrete reports about that news.

Kylian Mbappe, who moved to PSG in 2017, has said: “I want him to stay and I’ve told him what I think of the situation, it’s clear for me,”

“He’s an important player here and I want him to stay.”

Meanwhile, Mbappe talked up the 28-year-old’s impact in training.

“Ney was like he always is, full of qualities and he showed that,” the France star said.

The 20-year-old believes his statement during Ligue 1 player awards was ambiguous and wants to achieve more in Parc Des Princes.

“I left a lot of doors open after my speech at the UNFP awards,” he said. “It was not the right place for that, I’m sorry. I didn’t want to steal the show from other players. I want to win titles, it’s in my interest and that of PSG.”

Over the last two seasons, Mbappe has found the back of the net 60 times in 87 appearances for the Parisian club. In fact, he finished as the second-highest scorer in the European top leagues last season, only second to Lionel Messi.

Kylian Mbappe has been offered a new contract worth close to €1 million per week, but the French star is yet to make a decision.
