The club has decided to opt for a uniquely appalling design
Although the 2021-22 season is still quite some distance away, teams have already begun stitching together their new colors. With new sponsorship and kit deals being inked, sides are tailoring fresh pieces of apparel to done their players in.
While no club is yet to reveal its official kit for the new season with official announcement set to stream through come May, leaks have already begun occurring. A slew of outlets have already started revealing what clubs will be wearing in the forthcoming season.
Barcelona’s Kit Leaked
Footy Headlines who have over the years gained reputation for leaking authentic kits have now gone onto reveal Barcelona’s shirt for the next campaign. And the jersey has ended up creating a massive buzz ever since the leak occurred owing to the starkly different design it offers.
With yellow as the backdrop, the front side of the shirt features a cauldron of blue, red, black and yellow all intertwined. The massive mismatch of colors and no apparent design on display has drawn sharp backlash from the club’s ardent supporters.

The club’s decision to try something different looks to have turned out into a horrid and failed experiment for the club. Given the unending stream of criticism flowing for the kit, the club could be prompted to rework the design before an official release.
Barcelona meanwhile have fared off much better when it comes to the actual game. After a season of turmoil, one where Messi’s departure, the president’s election and Koeman’s ineptness as a manager, the club has finally settled into its groove.
The club couldn’t have found its touch at a more ideal time as well. Where the side is going from strength to strength in the league, table toppers Atletico Madrid have hit a rut, one which has seen Barcelona come roaring back into the title fracas.
With five successive wins to their name, second placed Barcelona have erased the deficit between them and the league leaders to a scanty four points. Barcelona most recently routed Real Sociedad 6-1 in the league.
