Virat Kohli celebrated Father’s Day in style by posting an old pic of himself and his Dad on Twitter.

The national governing body for cricket, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released new images of Indian stars ahead of the England tour.

India will begin its UK tour with the two match T20I series against Ireland to be played on the 27th and 29th of June. Once that is done, India would then move to England where the first T20I begins on the 3rd of July.

Before the action begins on the field, the team partook in a photo shoot. The BCCI uploaded a few images of Indian cricketers on Instagram including the likes of MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.

India have left for the long UK tour. They recently landed in Ireland and hit the gym soon after reaching UK.

After the IPL, the fans got some taste of international cricket when India locked horns against Afghanistan in the one-off test between the two nations at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.

However, it was hardly a competition as the game got over within 2 days with India comprehensively beating Afghanistan by an innings. Now is the time for some testing times in overseas conditions.

However, it will start softly and then snowball into something more competitive. India will begin its UK tour with the two match T20I series against Ireland to be played on the 27th and 29th of June. Once that is done, India would then move to England where the first T20I begins on the 3rd of July.

The wait of the Indian fans is about to get over. They will now be able to see their favourite stars in the Blue jersey in just a couple of day’s time.

I, a failed cricketer say: write picturesque, write insightful; otherwise don’t write. My writings are a source of self pleasure. Enjoy a fiercely fought test session much more than a slam bang T20. I write anything, as per whim- news piece, feature, opinion, editorial, preview, analysis etc. Hope to write a book one day!
