Becky Lynch: The Man’s opponent for WWE SummerSlam announced

Becky Lynch: The Man’s opponent for WWE SummerSlam announced after a no.1 contenders match on Raw the 15th of July 2019.

Becky Lynch is finally done with Lacey Evans and Charlotte. The WWE Raw Women’s champion has been facing either of the two since Royal Rumble earlier this year. And now she can finally move on and face a new challenger.

The WWE announced a fatal fourway match for the no.1 contendership. The women participating in the match were former champion Alexa Bliss, Naomi, Natalya and Carmella. Interestingly, although all four women in the match were SmackDown champions in the past, only Alexa has held the Raw women’s championship.

The match was fought under elimination rules with Carmella the first to be eliminated from the match. Naomi soon follows suit. With only Alexa and Natalya left in the match, Nikki Cross demands that the crowd cheer for Alexa. That only leads to her getting booed louder. In the middle of this all, Natalya caught Bliss in the sharpshooter. The 5-time champion quickly tapped out to hand Natalya the opportunity to go against Becky Lynch this SummerSlam.

Becky Lynch walked into the ring to greet her new challenger. She told the queen of black harts that she would be the spark her career needs but she’d have to step it up for their title match. In response, Natalya told her that she plans on ripping Lynch head off and “pulling that horseshoe out of her a—!”

SummerSlam will take place on August 11, 2019 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
