Kastov-74u in Warzone 2.0

The Kastov 74u has vanished in the meta due to dominant weapons like the Vaznev and the PDSW-528 taking over. However, this class loadout will bring the gun back and ensure it is still as strong as seen in the older Call of Duty games.

There are many SMGs you can use to achieve a variety of results in the game. Some have a higher magazine capacity while some possess a faster fire rate. The results all depend on the attachments you have on. Although, there are tiers of SMGs and some are definitely better than others.

The Kastov-74u can be a good SMG. However, it needs the proper attachments to be the best. FaZe Booya‘s Kastov 74u loadout is the one we will use as a reference for this guide since it has attachments that bring out the best from the gun in the game.

The Best Kastov-74u Loadout on Ashika Island

As you can see by the title, this loadout will be most effective on Ashika Island. However, you can also use it in Ranked Play and public matches due to its versatility. We will be using simple attachments that complement the gun and put it back in the meta. Here are the attachments.

Attachments

  • Stock: Broadside FCT/Otrezat Stock
  • Rear Grip: True-Tac Rear Grip
  • Magazine: 45-Round Mag
  • Underbarrel: FSS Sharkfin 90
  • Muzzle: FSS Covert V

The first attachment is the stock of the weapon. You have two options here. The first one is the Broadside FCT or the Otrezat Stock. The Broadside FCT increases stats related to handling and mobility such as the aiming stability, ADS speed, sprint speed, and crouch movement speed. Although, if you do not have this attachment, you can replace it with the Otrezat stock.

The next attachment is the True-Tac Grip which increases mobility further by giving the gun stat bonuses for the sprint-to-fire speed and ADS speed. Combine this attachment with the 45-Round Mag to ensure that you can take gunfights and survive without having to reload in the middle of them.

The FSS Sharkfin 90 is another attachment you should equip for this weapon because of its versatility. Because it increases the aiming idle stability of the gun, you can stay locked in on a particular angle. The last attachment is built to round out the whole loadout.

Use the FSS Covert V muzzle to increase the bullet velocity of the gun so you can pierce armor faster. In addition, this attachment also provides sound suppression and recoil smoothness so this weapon becomes viable in medium to long ranges.

Why You Should Use This Loadout

The Kastov 74u is the most useful in short to medium-range combat. That is why, we recommend running this weapon as a Sniper Support. However, with these attachments, it becomes a weapon that will challenge the meta quite easily.

That is why, equipping two Primaries in the same build just like FaZe Booya can also be viable. He uses the ISO Hemlock as the second weapon with these attachments.

ISO Hemlock Attachments

  • Optic: Aim OP-V4
  • Magazine: 45-Round Mag
  • Muzzle: Harbinger D20
  • Underbarrrel: FTAC Ripper 56
  • Barrel: Fielder T-50

This loadout is meant to be versatile over both ranges so ensure you equip both of these weapons; one for short to medium ranges and the other for long ranges. Combine the weapons with something evasive like the smoke grenade to get out of the firing line. Also, a throwing knife to quickly finish off enemies is a nice investment.
