Finn Balor’s return from injury has not turned out as well as his fans would have hoped for has it?
The immensely talented had a dream debut on the main roster when he won the WWE Universal title in his first ever PPV match at Summerslam last year. But as fate would have it, Balor seriously injured himself in that match and was forced to be out of action for close to nine months.
Balor returned the night after Wrestlemania, and made it clear that he was going to chase the title that he never really lost. He even had a couple of interactions with Brock Lesnar in which he said that he was not afraid of the Beast.

But nothing happened after that interaction. Lesnar got busy with Strowman while Balor was involved in a seemingly endless feud with Bray Wyatt.
The prospect of seeing Balor face Lesnar for the title is a salivating thought for the WWE Universe and it would be a crime if it were not to happen. After Survivor Series, the seeds are reportedly going to be planted for the match that the WWE Universe really wants to see.
WWE have a lot of faith in Balor and really want him to succeed. Although an injury put an end to what would have been an amazing debut year in the company, Balor is hugely popular with the fans and has earned the respect of his peers.
If all things work out, Balor will finally get the rematch that he deserves at the Royal Rumble PPV. While Balor may not win the match, the potential of watching The Demon vs The Beast is one that the company simply pass up.
