Champions League first week fixtures have left fans drooling. The group stage matches promise exciting action in the first week.
The Champions League is back once again. The draw is done with and the fans are aware of who their club will face in the coming weeks. The draw at Monaco made for some exciting groups with group F taking the group of death slot.

The group consists of Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan. Then there is group A which has Real Madrid and PSG. Liverpool are in the same group as Napoli once again. Chelsea have been drawn with Valencia while Juventus are paired with Atletico Madrid.
The group stages normally see the weaker times getting pulverized by the bigger teams apart from the odd upsets. The high-profile clashes do not begin until the round of 16 and that doesn’t start until next year. However, fans will not have to wait that long this time around.

The fixtures for the Champions League are out and it promises exciting matches from the first week itself! Liverpool will take on Napoli in a repeat of their encounter in the same stage last season. Chelsea’s young team will be put to test against Valencia while Barcelona clash with Borussia Dortmund.
These heavyweight matches will be followed by more super bouts as Real Madrid take on PSG the next day while Atletico Madrid and Juventus rehash their rivalry from the Champions League Round of 16 last season.
All these matches could have easily been the knock out matches and it wouldn’t surprise anyone if at one point they do face each other again. However, fans will consider themselves very lucky to be able to witness Premier Champions league quality in the group stage itself.
