Chelsea News: Blues star could miss next match against Sheffield United in the Premier League this weekend at the Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea won their first Premier league match under Frank Lampard last week with a 3-2 thriller against Norwich City. The Blues are still chasing a home victory and will hope to pull it off against Sheffield United. However, Lampard will miss the services of a very important player for their Premier League clash.

The Blues could play their next match without Pedro. Chelsea manager Frank Lampard dropped the bad news through the club’s official site.
He said:
“Pedro picked up a hamstring injury and we will assess the severity of it over the next couple of days, but I think it will be tough for him to be back for next week at first glance,”
“We obviously then have the international break, so that might help, but we will be trying to get him back as quickly as possible because he’s an important player.”
The Spanish winger picked up a hamstring injury just before the match against Norwich City while warming up with the team. He was replaced by Ross Barkley in the starting line-up, who could once again start for Lampard.
Chelsea started the season poorly, losing 4-0 to Manchester United in their opening match. However, they have since grown with every match. They lost their next match to Liverpool in the UEFA Super Cup. They did however, push the European Champions till the very last minute; losing out on penalties.
They then drew with Leicester City at home before finally getting their win over Norwich City last week. The Blues will hope to carry the momentum and win the match before the team disperses for the International break.
