In spite of boasting of a title winning squad, Conte realizes that he has to strengthen his team in various departments.

The departure of Costa was a given, so in came Alvaro Morata. The additions of Rudiger and Bakayoko have strengthened the spine of the side, something that will hold them in good stead over the course of the season.

But Conte is not done, as he has his eyes set on four more targets in Alex Sandro, Antonio Candreva, Fernando Llorente and Virgil van Djik.

Now it has come to light that Conte wishes to also buy Everton’s latest wonder kid, Tom Davies. The 19 year old midfielder had a break out season last year, in which he scored two goals in 25 appearances.

Davies will be looking to make a bigger impression this season, as he would be keen on entering the World Cup squad in a year’s time. A move to Chelsea would mean an opportunity to play in the Champions league as well as with a higher caliber of players.

Whether or not this transfer will go through, it clearly shows that Conte has no interest on resting on his laurels. The Italian has tremendous ambition, and has demanded the Chelsea boss, Roman Abrahimovic to back him in the transfer window.

After signing a more lucrative Chelsea deal, Conte will now have over 250 million to spend in this window, as he looks to aim for both the Premier league and Champions league this season.

And the way he is going, you would be hard pressed to bet against him!
