Clear skies expected for CSK’s match against Rajasthan Royals
CSK will play their first home match at Pune tonight, when they will host Ajinkya Rahane’s Rajasthan Royals.
The Royals will be hurting after a disappointing loss to KKR in their last match, as Rahane will look to change the fortunes of his side by leading from the front.
For a side filled with match winners, Rajasthan have failed to truly kick into gear this season. No one other than Sanju Samson has looked impressive, as the foreign stars have as of yet not delivered the goods.
The likes of Short, Stoke and Buttler need to step up, as does the captain himself, Ajinkya Rahane.
From CSK’s perspective, Raina and Dhoni should be fit for this match, which comes as a huge boost to the team’s fortunes. The two CSK legends will need to put in good performances if they want to win tonight, as the Royals certainly have the ability to perform on the big stage.
For Rahane, Stokes and Unadkat, tonight’s match will be a return to the Pune stadium, as all three along with Dhoni were part of the Rising Pune SuperGiants franchise for the last two years.
Tonight’s match is expected to be a good one, as both sides will be looking to pick up a win and get their season back on track. The weather forecast is also good, as there does not seem to be any rain on the horizon.

CSK will be hoping to make Pune another fortress, as they will play their remaining home matches in this stadium. With Dhoni around, CSK will never lose out on audience support in any case!
