Coffs Harbour Stadium pitch report: Coffs International Sports Stadium pitch report for SIX vs STR today match BBL

Sydney Sixers will take on Adelaide Strikers in the 45th league game of the Big Bash League 2022-23 at the International Sports Stadium in Coffs Harbour. This is the very first match at this ground of the ongoing BBL season in Coffs Harbour.

Sydney Sixers have won seven of their nine matches in the tournament, and one more win can definitely seal their place in the playoffs. With the arrival of Steve Smith and Nathan Lyon, this team has certainly got stronger. The Sixers are one of the most stable teams in the tournament, and they would want to continue.

Adelaide Strikers have won five of their 11 games in the tournament, and this is an important game for them. Chris Lynn will not take any further part in the tournament, and he will be a very big miss. Travis Head and Alex Carey are available for the rest of the season, and they will play a huge part.

Coffs Harbour Stadium pitch report

For the last couple of seasons, Sydney Sixers are playing a few of their home matches in Coffs Harbour. This stadium will host one match of the ongoing Big Bash League. As this stadium hosts a very limited number of matches, a full house is always seen at this very venue.

Just a couple of T20 matches have been played where, where both matches have been won by the chasing teams. The average 1st innings score in those matches has been 164 runs. It has been seen that the batters have enjoyed batting at this surface, and there are no visible demons on this track.

The boundaries at this stadium are not that huge, and the batters can clear them easily here. It has been seen that the spinners have got some grip on this track, and they can again be deadly here on this track. With a very quick outfield, the run-scoring will be easy here. Both captains may opt to chase upon winning the toss.
