CSK vs KKR Head to Head Record in IPL History

As was the case exactly three weeks ago from today, a Chennai Super Kings vs Kolkata Knight Riders clash will follow a Rajasthan Royals vs Royal Challengers Bangalore clash on an Indian Premier League 2023 double-header Sunday.

CSK, who have won five out of their last six matches against KKR, had defeated them at the Eden Gardens last month. Having posted a mammoth 235/4 in 20 overs, MS Dhoni and his men had won by a comfortable margin of 49 runs.

Chennai, who have an overall 19-10 lead over Kolkata in all these years, have won seven and lost only twice against them at their home ground. It is worth mentioning that both Knight Riders’ victories at the MA Chidambaram Stadium had come during IPL 2012. Additionally, IPL 2012 final was the last time when they had defeated Super Kings at the Chepauk.

With their chances of qualifying for IPL 2023 playoffs hanging by a thread, it will be interesting to see if Nitish Rana and his men are able to break a losing streak at this stadium or not. The hosts, meanwhile, will be powered to the top of the points table after winning tonight.
