During an Instagram live session in 2020, Indian wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant asked fellow batter Rohit Sharma for a six-hitting challenge. Sharma, known for his witty answers, spoke in Hindi and trolled Pant for the same.

Talking about sixes, Sharma is second on the list of hitting the most international sixes. He has smashed 523 sixes in 437 international matches so far and is just behind West Indies batter Chris Gayle (553 sixes). Pant has played 129 international matches, and he has smashed 118 sixes so far in his career.

Both Pant and Sharma are known for their hard-hitting, and they share a great bond as well between each other. Sharma’s daughter, Samaira, calls Pant ‘Chachu’. When Pant got injured in an accident recently, Sharma’s wife Ritika, posted an Instagram story to urge people to not share Pant’s accident pictures.

Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah was doing an Instagram live during the lockdown in 2020 with Sharma, Pant was watching the session and he asked Sharma for a challenge of hitting the biggest sixes. Bumrah conveyed the message to the Indian captain, and he gave a cheeky reply.
“Mere sath usko karna hai? ek saal hua nahi usko cricket khelke, chhakke ka competition kar rha hai [He wants to compete against me? He has played cricket for hardly a year and wants to have a competition],” Rohit Sharma had said.
Both Sharma and Pant are captains of their respective sides as well. However, Pant will be missing the upcoming season of the IPL and Australian batter David Warner will be leading the Delhi Capitals in his absence.
