With the announcement that a two-match Test series against New Zealand will commence the next English summer season, England Cricket Board have made public the fixtures for a grand summer season which will include as many as four touring teams.

New Zealand, who had last visited England for a Test series in 2015, will possibly travel to England as the No. 1 ranked team with the first and second Test matches to be played at the Lord’s and Edgbaston respectively.

Also likely to finish as one of the top two ranked teams in the inaugural ICC World Test Championship, the Black Caps might also be seen playing the final of the tournament in England this summer.

After hosting New Zealand, England will lock horns with Sri Lanka and Pakistan as both the Asian teams will play a three-match T20I and three-match ODI series each.

The grand summer season will culminate with a high-profile five-match Test series against India which will witness the English summer carrying on until September 14.
